Jesse Colbert Holcomb, jr

Jessie Colbert Holcombe, Jr. 66 of Luther, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012. Jessie was born to Colbert and Lola Holcombe on Sept. 1, 1945 in Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Choctaw High School in 1963. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic then went to work at Honeywell for 231/2 years. Jessie went to work for Comtec on Feb. 14th, 18 years ago as a security alarm tech and ironically passed away on the same date. He received a 40 years lifetime achievement award from the Fire & Burglar Alarm Assoc. He was a long time member of Sovereign Grace Church in Harrah and a member of the homicide survivors group.

Jessie was preceded in death by his daughter Karen, grandson Brandon, great granddaughter Faith Lynn Cross and brother Keith Holcombe.

Jessie is survived by his wife Donna of the home, parents Colbert and Lola Holcombe of Choctaw, sons: Jessie III and wife Brenda of OKC, John of Norman, daughters: Christine Lake of Florida, and Kathy Passmore of OKC, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and 2 sisters Sharon Jernigan and Sandra Holcombe.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, Feb. 14, 2012 at the funeral home chapel with burial at Dale Cemetery.
