Mary Fredman, 94, of McLoud, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in McLoud.

She was born March 30, 1924 to LeRoy and Lillie (Barkley) Long in McKinney, Texas.

Mary was raised in the Meeker and Prague areas. She lived most of her life in the McLoud area.

She married C.J. Fredman on December 5, 1942 in Chandler, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2006.

Mary owned and operated Mary’s Beauty Shop in McLoud until her retirement in 1980.

She was a member of the McLoud Church of Christ for 60 years. Mary enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Lillie Long; husband, C.J. Fredman; grandson, Shannon Fredman; sister, Hazel Cavner; and 4 brothers, Bud Long, Pat Long, Bill Long and Joe Long.

Those left to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters, Mary Charlene Wooten of Shawnee, OK and Virginia Fredman of McLoud, OK; 1 son and 1 daughter-in-law, Rick and Tracy Fredman of Wellston, OK; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Margie Cox of Alamogordo, NM; and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2018 with family present from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to greet friends and family. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at McLoud Church of Christ with Wayne Price officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
