Effie "Lou" Bliven Craig

Effie “Lou” Craig, 76, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at her home.

She was born June 9, 1946 to Phillip and Lucille (Haller) Bliven in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Lou was raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and attended Grand Junction public schools. She has resided in Tecumseh since 1976.

She worked at Firelake Grocery Store and retired after several years. In her younger years she worked at Scrivener Trucking.

She married Robert “Timothy” Craig on July 3, 1969 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2005.

Lou enjoyed crocheting, word searches, watching T.V. and was an avid OSU fan, Nascar Fan and horse racing fan, she especially enjoyed the Kentucky Derby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Craig; and her parents; Phillip and Lucille Bliven.

Survivors include 2 sons, Richard Craig of Sparks, OK and Robert Craig of Colorado; 1 daughter, Davina Craig Sealock; and brother, Bill Bliven of Utah; and other extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2022 at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
