NANCY ADAMS

July 25, 1942 - May 26, 2018

Nancy L. Adams, 75, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed from this life Saturday, May 26, 2018.

She was born July 25, 1942 to Claude and Opal Goode in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Nancy married Bob Adams on May 7, 1975 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She lived in Phoenix, Arizona for 15 years and moved to the Bethel Acres area 22 years ago.

Nancy was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her home and family. She was a perfectionist in everything she did from wiring cockpits on aero commander jets to being proficient in land management.

Nancy was a member of the Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh for many years. She loved her cats, flowers, interior decorating, drag racing, taking care of the elderly and most of all she loved children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Justin Morris.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 44 years, Bob Adams of the Home; 4 daughters, Rhonda and Steve Stringfellow of McAlister, OK, Diana and Robert Keen of West Monroe, LA, Teresa Batie of Roosevelt, AZ and Robbie and John Pisani of Mesa, AZ; 1 son, James Norman, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ronald Goode and Donald Goode; and other loving extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 and continue through service time. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh with Erick Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
