Services for Barbara Ann (Allen) Wilson, 68, of Ada, are 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Steven Howard and Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Ms. Wilson passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018, at a Tulsa hospital. She was born January 18, 1950, in Ada to John Franklin and Bertha Mae Miller Allen. She lived in this area all her life and graduated from Byng High School. She attended Eastern State University in Wilburton and received a Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University in Ada.
Ms. Wilson was currently an Administrative Assistant at the Chickasaw Nation. Previously, she was employed in various positions with the Chickasaw Nation, the Kellyville Public School; the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Labor. She was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army Church, a member of the Chickasaw Elders, and the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Vern C. Wilson, Jr. and wife Connie and Johnny C. Wilson and wife Leanne; her grandchildren, JayCee Cotton and husband Ricky, Paige Wilson, Reide Wilson, Dillon Wilson, Hailey Wilson and Chloe Wilson; her great-grandchildren, Grant Cotton and Aiden Cotton; two sisters, Margaret Foley and husband Bill and Cindy Rainwater and husband Jerry; and an uncle, Claude Miller and wife Joann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael A. Wilson; two sisters, Arlene Allen and Lisa Allen; and a niece, Christal Foley.
Bearers will be Stacy Foley, Tony Miller, Robert Johnson, Ricky Cotton, Jimmy Foley and Tyler Gillispie. Honorary bearers will be Bill Foley, Jerry Rainwater, Jake Gonzalez, Tanner Gillispie and Roger Pinson.
