Services for Charles Truman Teel, 86, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday before services.
Mr. Teel died Wednesday, July 29, 2020. He was born July 15, 1934 in Ada to Otist Easley and Leslie Graden Teel. He graduated from Latta High School.
He married Mary Ann Caldwell on December 20, 1952. She preceded him in death on October 30, 2009. Mr. Teel was a Bricklayer and a farmer.
Survivors include a son, Charles Teel and wife Jan of Ada; two daughters, Sandra Teel of Ada, and Marilyn Ellis and husband David of Ada; one brother, Don Teel of Stonewall; grandchildren, Nathan Teel and wife Crystal of Stonewall, Alan Teel and Celeste Rigsby of Conroe, TX, Miranda Bond and husband James of Ada, Daron Ellis of Ada, Michelle Fields and husband Leontae of Thornton, CO and Davy Ellis and wife Teresa of Ada; great-grandchildren, Charlee Teel, Mitchell Teel, Kinzie Rigsby, Kindal Rigsby, Virginia Teel, Dakota Teel, Paix Ellis, Major Ellis, Dyson Palmer, Marlee Palmer, Dillon Palmer, Josalynn Bond, Bishop Fields, Noah Fields, Ava Ellis, Andre Williams and Adrian Gonzalez; and great great-grandchildren, Everley Teel and Silas Williams.
Bearers will be grandsons and nephews, Nathan Teel, Alan Teel, Daron Ellis, Davy Ellis, Scott Teel and Keith Teel. Honorary bearers will be members of Gideon’s Organization.
