Services for Jerry Shelton, 60, of Ada, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, May 17, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Shelton died May 13, 2021 at home. He was born March 21, 1961 to William and Sharon Sheppard Shelton in Ada, Oklahoma. He married Shirley Graham June 5, 1988 in Ada, Oklahoma. He was owner of Ada Top Shop and spent many years working in the oil field industry. His free time was spent fishing, dirt track racing, and enjoying his family.
Survivors include wife Shirley Shelton of the home; two daughters, Brandy Pack of Tulsa and Lyndsey Shelton of Ada; four sons, William Shelton and wife Audra of Ada, Christopher Turner.
and wife Rebecca of Mannsville, Zachary Shelton and wife Kristian of Ada, and Jacob Furr and wife Kayla of Ada; many grandchildren and honorary pit crew Raylee Shelton, Alyvia Turner, Ryan Shelton, Kambrey Martinez, Matthew Turner, Briley Shelton, Noah Shelton, Kavrey Martinez, Kane Pack, Kinzlie Shelton, Troyce Shelton, and Kulture Martinez; a sister Sheila Shelton of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dredawna Shelton, Darla Winford, Kathy Shelton, and Tonya Shelton, and a brother William “Little Billy” Shelton, Jr.
Bearers are William Shelton, Ryan Shelton, Christopher Turner, Jacob Furr, Matthew Turner and Jay Mason. Honorary bearer will be Gary Meeks.
