Services for Orval Eugene Pittman, 86, of Ada, are Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ada First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Jarrod Presley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Pittman passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, in Ada. He was born February 14, 1938, in Troy, Oklahoma to Joe W. and Etta Mae (Rodgers) Pittman.

Mr. Pittman attended Ada elementary school and graduated from Ada High School. He served in the Military from July 13, 1961 to July 12, 1967. He worked for Brockway Glass for over 30 years and retired from Flex-N-Gate in Ada.

Orval was baptized and became a member of the Ada First Free Will Baptist Church on March 27, 1966, and was on the Board of Trustee’s. On June 3, 1966, he married Marilyn Joyce Sanders.

Orval enjoyed being with his family, as well as, fishing, flying and gardening.

Survivors are his wife, Joyce, of the home; children, Jan Wendling and her husband, Scott, of Blanchard, Brian Pittman and his wife, Sherri; grandchildren, Tyler Hatton, Makayla Jorgensen, Tayler Parnacher and her husband, Kele, and Rymi Wendling; great grandchildren, Hudson, Teagan and Skyler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe Bob Pittman; and sister, Darlene Leister.
