Services for Sandra Kay Petete, 58, of Ada are 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will be Monday at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Petete passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at an Oklahoma City hospice house. She was born December 19, 1961 at Ada to Hugh Don and Betty Ann Fowler Johnson. She attended Irving Grade School and graduated from Byng High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from East Central University.
She married Richard Petete February 4, 1994 in Ada. Mrs. Petete was a homemaker and had also worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Survivors include her husband, Richard, of the home; her mother, Betty Johnson; a brother, Randy Johnson and wife Lori; sister, Jennifer Johnson; her aunts, Mary Hatton and Judy Bryant and her husband David; an uncle, Roland Fowler and wife Bobbie; two nieces, Lanie Green and Miranda Johnson; a nephew, Dex Johnson; and her cousins, Missy Hatton, Carlous Hatton, Davey Bryant, Dirk Bryant, Bobby Bryant, Shelly Hatter, Jamie Phillips and Jason Edwards; and numerous other relatives and many friends.
