It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Virginia Ruth Jared (nee) Taylor on Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Ada Oklahoma. She was 88.
Virginia was born January 16, 1931 to Ida Mae and Robert Taylor. At the tender age of 16 she married Julius Franklin (Frank) Jared, Jr. and thus began a love story that lasted 71 years until Frank's death on February 3, 2019.
Virginia spent most of her life in Ada / Conway and was a long time member of Lovelady Baptist Church. She was retired from Blue Bell Wrangler in Ada.
Virginia was a loving wife, devoted mother and a cherished friend to many. She will be deeply missed.
Virginia was predeceased by her husband Frank, son Ronald Jared, mother and father and brother Jack. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Melody Kappauf of Marco Island, FL; chosen granddaughters, Raetchel Gray and Meleaia Gray; a nephew, Gary Taylor and family of Grand Lake, OK; a niece, Jaci Phillips and family of Montana; and many nieces and nephews and faithful 4-legged companion Sissy.
A very special thanks to Glenda Gray, a wonderful caregiver and friend to both Virginia and Frank.
Thank you to all the family and friends who helped make these last few years brighter for Frank and Virginia as their health declined. They are now rejoicing being joined together, with their son Ron, for all eternity, in the presence of God.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you donate, in Virginia’s memory, to the charity of your choice.
Services for Virginia Jared will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:00 am at Lovelady Baptist Church with the Reverend Coy Howry officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
