Services for Cynthia Sue Brents, 65, of Ada are 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends form 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday.

Mrs. Brents passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, in Shawnee. She was born August 31, 1958 in Ada to Fred Cantwell and Mary Sue Carter Hopper.

Mrs. Brents graduated from Ada High School in 1976. She went on to become a Registered Nurse.

On December 19, 1980, she married Bruce Keith Brents. Mrs. Brents was a very proud nurse and grandmother. She loved her dog Skoshi so much. She was the proud wife to Bruce for 43 years and proud momma to her daughter, Sarah.

Survivors are her husband, Bruce, of the home; daughter, Sarah Iverson, of Ada; mother, Sue Hopper, of Ada; two brothers, Rusty Hopper and his wife, Cherie Jo, of Ada, and Freddy Hopper and his wife, Stacy, of Ada; grandson, Ruger Iverson; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Hopper; and in-laws, Buddy and Alice Brents.

Bearers are Ruger Iverson, Taylor Hopper, Shawn Bridgeman, Greg Hamm, Rusty Hopper, and Frank Brents. Honorary bearers are Freddy Hopper and Brad Brents.
