On September 23rd, 2021 a most beautiful first full day of Autumn, Avery Mae Anderson peacefully went home to Jesus.

Memorial Services for Avery will be held at H2O Church on Tuesday, September 28th at 10:00am. With Zac Christian and Tyson Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. The family will receive friends Monday, September 27, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Avery was our flag day girl, born on June 14th, 1999 to Boadie and Tiffany Anderson. Avery loved life and her passions ranged from philanthropic to artistic to music to soccer and even included a few stray dogs along the way.

Avery was an amazing big sister. On the day of the accident that forever changed her life, she had been helping her brother Noble finish his Eagle Scout project. They were each other's best friend. Her sister Emory, was always by her side. They spent their time laughing with one another, making funny videos, doing craft projects and making memories

Avery loved spending time with her cousins. From holiday dress up parties at Juju and Papa’s to nerf gun wars to family vacations, those were special times with her partners in life’s journeys. You could always find Avery, Grace, Noble, David, Matthew and Emory together.

Avery loved her church. Avery found a place at H2O where she served faithfully in the children’s ministry department. Whether it was helping in kids worship or leading a Lifegroup, she knew one thing – that she loved Jesus and wanted to share Him with everyone.

Her love for Jesus also took her around the world. At a young age, Avery knew she wanted to be a missionary. She spent many school breaks and summers sharing His love with children from many places including Haiti, Honduras and Guatemala.

Avery loved her friends. Her Kanakuk Kamp friends, her soccer teammates, and her lifelong school friends were always very important to her. She never met a stranger, and she always greeted everyone with that glorious smile of hers and an awkward peace sign.

She is survived by her mother and father, Boadie and Tiffany and her brother and sister, Noble and Emory. Her Grandparents, Doris Blackburn and the late Bud Blackburn, and Ed and Judy Anderson. Some amazing aunts and uncles Stacy Crabtree, Kiki Hill, Mitch and Tracey Blackburn, and John and Kiah Anderson. And her best friends, her cousins: Lindsey Blackburn Hale, Jordan Blackburn Horn, Parker Blackburn, Carly Hill Johnson, Grace, David and Matthew Anderson. Second cousins, Woodley & Bauer Johnson and Ellington Rose Horn.

In lieu of flowers, the family knows that Avery would love you to make contributions to where her heart will forever remain. Emmaus House – Haiti PO Box 3224 Johnson City, TN 37602. For online donations to Emmaus House in honor of Avery, visit Emmaushousehaiti.org/donate or text AVERY to 423-214-2212. Or to H2OKids Ministry, PO Box 518 Ada, OK 74821. Pallbearers are Erik Johnson, Gary Robinson, Aaron Heilaman, Jacob Thorley, Phil Fuller, Payton Owen, Kishan Buhla and Sheldon Teeman.
