The family will host a memorial service for Billy Joe Horton, 63, of Roff, at 10:00 a.m. Friday, at the Lightning Ridge Baptist Church, with a dinner to follow. He died Monday, May 30, 2016 at a local hospital. He was born December 14, 1952 in Coalgate to Billy Reynolds and Lottie Ward Horton. He graduated from Roff High School.

Mr. Horton married Sabra Jeannette Hunt on May 26, 1972. He was a self-employed truck driver.

Survivors include his wife Sabra, of the home; three daughters, Kristie Muntz and husband Kenny of Stratford, Kimberly Johnson and husband David of Forney, Tx and C.J. Horton of Ada; three sisters, Sandy Odom of Roff, Brenda Brady of Stonewall and Linda Munday of Stonewall; one brother, David Horton of Bowlegs; two grandchildren, Scott Muntz and Dannielle Finch,and Hanah Muntz and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
