Services for Jo Ann Edwards, 69, of Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Thomas Andrews will officiate. Mrs. Edwards died January 23, 2015 at a local nursing home. She was born February 20, 1945 in Ada to Hugh Frederick and Ovella Sue Jackson Johnson. She attended school in Ada. Jo Ann was a homemaker and had worked for the Ada Candy Company. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Shelly Hatter of Stratford and Jamie Phillips and husband Robert of Stonewall; one son, Jason Edwards and wife Kellie of Stratford; five grandchildren, Dillon Phillips, Tommy Lawson, Ashley Lawson, Lacey Hatter and J.W. Edwards; one great-grandson, Kingston Phillips; one brother, Hugh Don Johnson and wife Betty of Ada; former husband, Jim Edwards of Stonewall and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
