Services for Doris E. West, 84, Ada, are 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Rev. David McCann officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. West died on Sunday, May 16, 2010, at an Allen nursing home. She was born September 25, 1925, at Houston, Texas to Paul and Stella Bruns Stuckey. She graduated from Houston High School. She and her family moved to Roff in 1952 then to Ada in 1958. She married Houston West on June 20, 1944, in Houston, Texas. He died September 26, 1986. She was a 50 year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ada and served as an Elder of the church. Mrs. West was homemaker, had worked at Blue Bell and as a secretary for Peoples Electric Cooperative, and was a member of the Ada Garden Club.

Survivors include a son, Paul West and wife Janie, Ada; and grandsons, Brent West, Oklahoma City; and Scott West, Norman. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert West; a brother, Paul Bruns; and a sister, Alice Smith.

Bearers are Mark Nelson, Jerry Maloy, Clyde Butler, Alvin Tidwell, Dwayne Yoesting and Anthony Jordan.
