Services for Ann Scott Thompson, 93, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Edmond. She was born September 2, 1929 in Ada, OK to Ed and Gladys Huddleston Reed. She graduated from Ada High School in 1947 and received a Bachelor’s degree from East Central University.

She married Charles Scott January, 1949. He preceded her in death August 28, 1988. She later married Raymon Leon Thompson April, 1996. He preceded her in death August 2010.

Mrs. Thompson taught school for the Byars School System until her retirement. She was a member of the Chickasaw Seniors, the Oklahoma Retired Teachers, the Healthy Heart Club and a longtime member of Central Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Greg Scott and wife Kathy, Spring Branch, TX, Larry Scott, Ada and Tony Scott and wife Robbie, Edmond, OK; seven grandchildren, Stephen Scott and wife Vicki, Meagan McVicker and husband Michael, Matthew Scott and wife Nikki, Christopher Scott and wife Brooke, Jessica Scott and fiancé, Jeff Payne, Lesley Rackley and husband Lee, and David Scott and fiancé, Dawn Lindblade-Evans; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Charles Scott and Raymon Leon Thompson; a son, Tim Scott; daughter-in-law, Rita Scott and two sisters, May Jo Powell and Dorothy Reed.

Bearers will be her sons, Greg Scott, Larry Scott and Tony Scott; and four grandsons, Stephen Scott, Matthew Scott, Christopher Scott and David Scott. Honorary bearers will be Michael McVicker, Lee Rackley and Jeff Payne.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to: The American Cancer Society, Chad Richison Hope Lodge, P. O. Box 22958, Oklahoma City, OK 73123; or Hope Harbor Children’s Home, 15025 E 380 Rd., Claremore, OK 74017.
