Services for Edith Alma Lillard, 92, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Lillard passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at a local nursing home. She was born November 10, 1924 at Stonewall to William Owen and Anna G. La Reau Newell. She attended Stonewall school graduating in 1943.

She married Bencie F. Lillard February 3, 1946. He preceded her in death October 2, 2014. They made their home in Wyoming, Montana and Colorado before moving back to Oklahoma in 1958. Mrs. Lillard was a homemaker and a member of Central Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Jim Lillard and wife Linda of Ada; and a granddaughter, Jaylea Lillard of Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Anna Billingsley; three brothers, Sedrick, Edmond and Gerald Newell.

Bearers will be Burr Harris, Dr. Jerry Morgan, Bill Nelson, Benny Cope, Morris McGehee, Ray Tharp and Daniel Jonka.
