Services for Lolita June Kindrick, 76, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday, at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Wolf will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Kindrick died Friday, May 1, 2015, at her home. She was born Oct. 11, 1938, to William Cardell and Lillie Mae Price Nelson, at Ada. She graduated from Latta Schools and attended East Central University and Pontotoc Technology Center. Mrs. Kindrick had been a member of Ada Retail Merchants and had worked at First National Bank of Ada as posting bookkeeper, The Ada Evening News in binding and typesetting, D&B Federal Printing & Office Supply as bookkeeper and Kindrick and Company Printing & Copy Service as bookkeeper. She was a member of Ada First Free Will Baptist Church where she was the organist for 41 years and then became a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church where she participated in the praise band and was keyboardist and accordion player for 12 years.
She and Douglas Roy Kindrick were married Nov. 10, 1960, at Ada.
Survivors include her husband, Doug, of the home; two sons, Kevin Kindrick and his wife Belinda of Ada and David Kindrick of Ada; three daughters, Leisa Kinstner and her husband Harold of Ada, Shari Kindrick and Ronnie Miller of Ada, and Tanya Hudson and her husband Thane of Ada; her sister, Nawatha Doidge; grandchildren, Shade Kindrick, Katelyn Kindrick, Kaden Kindrick, Chelsie Hendley and her husband Cord, Chris Kinstner, Jami Lindhe and her husband Matt, Jeremi Correll, Joshua Kindrick, Jett Hudson, Lillianna Hudson, Henry ‘Ace’ Hudson, Kendra Sevedge and her husband Jonathan, and Robert Hunter; and great-grandchildren, Camden Sevedge, Jagger Sevedge, Tessa Sevedge, Kaylee Correll and soon to come Jackson Lindhe and Marshall Hendley.
Bearers will be Kyle Langley, Jimmy Tignor, Danny Coats, Ernie Staggs, Gary Curry and Paul Scroggins.
