Melvin Grady Hoppe

Services for Melvin Grady Hoppe 92, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor McGregor will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Hoppe passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born December 6, 1926 at Yearger, Hughes County, Oklahoma to Herman Grady and Jewell Houck Hoppe.

He married Iris Teo. Mr. Hoppe was a drilling supervisor in the oilfield industry. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Iris, of the home; two sons, Craig Hoppe and wife Sue of Mead and Michael Hoppe of Ada; a daughter, Joyce Hatcher of Washington; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Donna Merkel; and a granddaughter, Megan Hoppe.,br>
Bearers will be Hunter Hoppe, Ty Hoppe, Calan Hoppe, Jason Masoner, Hayden Hoppe and Hyatt Hoppe.
