Mr. Herrin passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at an Ada hospital. He was born August 19, 1936 at Wayne to Oliver Marshall and Ora Elizabeth Howard Herrin. The family moved to Tulare, CA when he was nine years old and he graduated from Tulare Union High School.

He served his country in the U. S. Air Force from 1956 – 1960. He pitched and played baseball for Olathe, KS and played in the Air Force World Series. Glen always loved the sport; therefore, he coached Little League and played himself until moving to Oklahoma.

He married his lifelong sweetheart, Patricia Ann Wallen February 26, 1958. They were married for 60 years. Glen was in sales his whole life and owned his own business, Glen Auto Parts for a while. He loved the Lord, his family and his church so much. He served as a Deacon at Union Valley Baptist Church and was a leader of Heartfelt Ministry for adults. He also had a gospel music ministry called Glen Herrin Singing Ministry. Glen loved to sing gospel music at the nursing home for the ones that were unable to go out. He was involved with Tisha Todd and the Circle of Friends. He wanted to spread the word of the Gospel the way he knew how, by singing. He loved his two precious dogs, Bo and Boots. His other sports passion was golf. He was so happy to go out with his golfing buddies as often as he could until his illness set in.
