Services for Johnny DeWayne Flowers, Sr., 84, of Stratford are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Pastor Heath Sapp and Frankie Pursiville will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Flowers passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at his home. He was born March 25, 1941, in Ada to Johnny Michael and Cassie May Walden Flowers.

On February 27, 1964 he married Mary Katheryn James in Ada. They were married for 61 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; son, Johnny Flowers, Jr. and fiancé Amanda Rhoades of Ada; three daughters, Angie Masters and husband Bert of Ada, Christy Stockton and fiancé Gary Flowers of Ada, and Holly Darcy and husband Brandon of Ada; brother, Mike Flowers and wife Debbie of Ada; two sisters, Gloria Jackson and husband Ken of Perkins, OK, and Ellen Glaze and husband Lee of Drexel, MO; five grandchildren, Katie Akerman, Jessica Brooks, Paul Johnson, Jackie Stockton, and Ryan Stockton; 13 great grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Cody Johnson; step-mother, Imogene Flowers; adopted parents, Owen and Clara Magar; brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Magar; and sister, Sue Flowers Pursiville.

Bearers are Ryan Stockton, Paul Johnson, Ryan Brooks, Jacob Akerman, Johnny Flowers, Jr., Daniel Pursiville; and Gary Flowers.

Honorary bearers are his great grandsons, Braylen Stovall, Brodie Akerman, Hunter Valdez, Elijah Valdez, Joel Valdez, Royce Brooks, Ramsey Brooks, and Leo Stockton.
