Services for Donald Dean Evans, 68, of Byng, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Evans died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born November 30, 1945 in Houston, Texas to Rufus Samuel Henry Evans and Jessie Mae McAnally Evans. He attended Ada schools.

Mr. Evans was employed in the oilfield industry as a rig hand and driller. He served in the U. S. Army from November 30, 1962 until being honorably discharged November 12, 1965.

Survivors include a son, Marty Evans and his wife Stacy of Reno, NV; and four grandchildren, Samantha Simpson, Amanda Evans, Kayla Evans and Kelcy Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and twin brother, Ronnie Evans.
