Services for William Roy Beaver, 83, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Beaver died Monday, January 19, 2015 at a local nursing home. He was born May 24, 1931 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to William Francis (Boba) Beaver and Ada Ferguson Beaver. He attended grade school in Sulphur and moved to Ada and graduated from Ada High School.

He married June Wyche on September 5, 1953 at Oak Avenue Baptist Church. Mr. Beaver was a self-employed flooring engineer. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, June, of the home; a daughter, Kim Vandeveer and her husband Roy Throne of Ada; two grandsons, Christopher Roy Vandeveer and wife Paula of Ada and Tyler Cheyenne Vandeveer of Norman; and a sister, Clareta Dark of Midwest City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boba Beaver and Ada Beaver; four brothers, Clyde Beaver, Frank Beaver, Argle Beaver and Ollie Beaver; and a sister, Florene (Beaver) Lewis.

Bearers will be Chris Vandeveer, Tyler Vandeveer, Roy Throne, Mike Wyche, Jerry Wayne Wyche and Mike Anglin. Honorary bearers will be Willie Dansby, Bud Blackburn and Blaine Walters.
