A Graveside Memorial service for Steven Lynn Jeter, 66, of Ada will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Lightning Ridge Cemetery near Roff.
Mr. Jeter passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home. He was born July 21, 1953 at Sentinel, OK to Coy and Corine Jarrell Jeter. He graduated from Stratford High School and was a lifelong resident of this area.
He married Delores Turner March 27, 1981 at Pauls Valley. Mr. Jeter was a certified Ford Mechanic and a heavy line diesel mechanic. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ, enjoyed Nascar Racing, fishing and driving his race car.
Survivors include his wife, Delores, of the home; daughter, Brandy Ross and husband Corey, Latta; son, D. J. Cook and wife Rhonda, Konawa; two brothers, Mike Jeter, Stratford and David Jeter, Houston, TX; a sister, Barbara Jeter, Shawnee; and 11 grandchildren, Cody, Collen, Kady, Byron, Bo, Sailor, Crew, Trulee, Giulietta, Elias, and Douglas III.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
