Services for Elreta Jane Ficht, 73, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Fitzhugh United Methodist Church, Pastor Steve Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery near Roff.
Mrs. Ficht passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her home. She was born October 9, 1945 at Fitzhugh, OK to Truitt Andrew and Opal Mae Jones Young. She attended Fitzhugh Grade School and graduated from Latta High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from East Central University.
She married John Edmond Ficht May 17, 1970 in Anaheim, CA. He preceded her in death May 18, 2007. Mrs. Ficht had taught Spanish at Fairfax, OK. She was a member of Fitzhugh United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Jannette Evena Padilla and husband Gerado, Ernest Jay Ficht and wife Victoria and Jeffery Edmond Ficht and wife, Rebecca Ficht; her grandchildren, Marina Elreta Hernandez, August Nichole Ficht, Melanie Anne Ficht, Hunter Jay Ficht, Claire Renea Ficht and Preston Eugene Ficht; her sisters, Connie Young and Doris Winn; and brothers, Billy Gene Young and Vernon Young and wife Peggy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Nancy Morrow; and three brothers, Terry Young, Ocie Young and Jimmy Young.
