Services for Dolly Mae “Granny” Crawley, 90, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crawley died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at a local nursing home. She was born February 2, 1928 in Pecan Grove, near Ada, to David Dee and Georgia Taylor Stephens.
She retired from Ballard’s Nursing as a CMA, being employed from 1969 until 2014. Mrs. Crawley received the 2011 longevity award from the Oklahoma Nursing Home Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Logan and Gayle Huff and husband James, both of Ada; a sister, Imogene Shumard of Ada; three grandchildren, Michelle Bryant and husband Chris of Keller, TX, Allen Musser and wife Chasity of Ada, and Brandon Huff of Ada; nine great-grandchildren, Hailey and Lindsey Bryant, Dalton Musser, Kaybrea and Maci Musser, Landyn Young, Gage, Ashlyn and Abigail Rolen.
She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Jamie and Sheila Turner; a brother-in-law, Harvey Shumard; two son-in-laws, David Logan and Dean Musser; and her parents.
Bearers will be, Allen Musser, Christopher Bryant, Brandon Huff, Benny Shumard and Ronnie Shumard. Honorary bearers will be Dalton Musser, Hailey Bryant, Lindsey Bryant and Landyn Young.
