Services for the Rev. Eugene Dale Marrs, 77, Ada, are 2 p.m Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Gary Usher, Troy Shephard and Russell Horn officiating. Burial follows at Johnson Cemetery. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Full Gospel Holiness Church, 431 W. 7th, Ada.

The Rev. Marrs died Sept. 9, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born May 27, 1929, at Delaware, Okla., to Edward and Jennie Kirk Marrs.

He married Louise Walker April 21, 1967. The Rev. Marrs was a minister at Rose Assembly Full Gospel Church. He held many camp meetings and tent revivals and was known as "the Full Gospel Duet." He was also a custodian and bus driver for more than 30 years at Connerville and Latta schools. He served in the U. S. Air Force for four years.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Buster Marrs, Bill Burdine and Charlie Burdine; and a sister, Ollie Mae.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Marrs, of the home; a son, Eugene Marrs Jr., Allen; a granddaughter, Taylor Marrs, Stonewall; four sisters, Madelyn Corle and husband Howard, Virginia Temple and husband Harry, Lorene French, all of Nowata, and Geneva Marrs, Florida; a brother, Bob Marrs and wife Betty, Amarillo, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Bill Alexander and Dean Walker and wife Amber, Dallas; seven sisters-in-law, Rosseta Burdine, Deloris Alexander, both of Oklahoma City, Darlene Eckiwadah, Cyril, Viola Jim, Shawnee, Irene Banks, Charlene Vazquez and Wanda Alexander, Michael Markcum, whom he reared, all of Ada; a stepdaughter, Edith Silva, Oklahoma City; six stepgrandchildren, Rechenda Silva, Pilar Silva, Tiara Markcum, Autumn Markcum and Richard Markcum, Oklahoma City; and two greatgrandsons, Brandon Markcum, Ada, and Richard Markcum Jr., Oklahoma City.

Bearers are the Rev. Jackie Cooper, Charlie Cannon, Johnny Walker, Stephen Alexander, Christopher Alexander and Joseph Wolf.

Honorary bearers are Wordley Walker and Dale Catron.
