Graveside services for Fred Letterman, Jr., 89, of Stratford are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Center Cemetery.

Mr. Letterman was born October 26, 1932 in Webster County, Missouri to Fred Sr. and Etta Mae Cameron Letterman. He passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Pauls Valley, OK.

Mr. Letterman married Edna Jency Anderson on December 20, 1952. She preceded him in death February 10, 2022.

He entered the United States Air Force in July 1952 and retired in September 1972. Almost all of his career in the Air Force was spent as an Instructor Flight Engineer. He spent eight years as a Training Instructor, mainly C-141 Aircraft. After retiring from the Air Force, he mostly did odd jobs and a lot of bowling. He participated in bowling tourneys in most every state at some time.

He is survived by his son, Ronald Eugene Letterman and wife Cindy, of Pauls Valley, OK; one daughter, Pamela Sue Danley and husband Bill, of Pauls Valley, OK; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Letterman was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Etta Letterman; wife, Edna Letterman; two sons, Kenneth Dale Letterman and Gayland Wade Letterman and two brothers, James T. Letterman and Raymond L. Letterman.
