Ellen Parks, 91, formerly of McAlester, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Tulsa. She was born on April 7, 1925 in Cole, Oklahoma to Jim & Mary Morgan Robinson. Ellen was married to Arthur Parks on November 23, 1943 in McAlester. She and her husband moved to Ridgecrest, California to work for 30 years & returned in 1975. They lived in Arpelar for 21 years, and then moved to McAlester in 1995. Ellen was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of God the Seventh Day. Ellen is survived by her niece & husband: Ramona & Steve Wheeler of Broken Arrow, and a half-sister: Ida Clevenger of Grandview, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Roberta Miller, brother-in-law: Carl Miller, and half-brothers: Charles Robinson and James Robinson. Services will be Friday at Bishop Chapel of Memories at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at White Chimney Cemetery near Stuart. Rev. Wesley Walker will officiate at the service.
