Robert Lee "Bob" Williams, Jr. 80 of Tulsa and McAlester, passed away at 6:13 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 in Tulsa. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026 at Bishop Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow at Tannehill Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Angels Diner in McAlester. Pallbearers will be Sebastien Woodside, Angel Bernhardt, Jaci Gregory, John Sloan, Robert Cumpton and Jared Woodside. Honorary Pallbearers will be, James "Jimbo" Garigin, the 299th Combat Engineers and Angels Diner Crew. Robert was born July 28, 1945 to Celia May Bowman in Yale, Oklahoma. He grew up in Yale and graduated from Cushing High School in 1964, he was then drafted to the US ARMY October 19, 1965 and was honorably discharged October 18, 1967. Robert's daughter, Carman Williams, was born August 28th 1970. She was his pride and joy. He taught her how to hunt, fish, rebuild cars and many other things. Bob married Carol Jean (Allford) Travis on May 14, 1983 in McAlester, they were married for over 30 years before her death in 2014. Robert loved to participate in Bass Fishing Tournaments, fish, rebuild cars and go to casinos, many, many casinos. He retired from Boeing and Spirit while living in McAlester, his favorite place to travel to was Seattle, Washington. Robert was of Baptist Faith. He is survived by his daughters Carman Williams of Tulsa, Ginger Clinton of Tulsa; son, Jared Woodside of Tulsa; grandchildren, Sebastien Woodside, Mae Woodside, Shelbie Woodside-Schroeder and husband Ryan, Jaci Gregory of Tulsa, Samantha and Dean Blevins of Mannford, Kealy Whitney of Tulsa and the whole of the Woodside family; and great-grandson, Eric Schroeder.
