Robert "Bob" Sullivan, 88, of McAlester, died Sunday, April 26, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on December 3, 1926, in Bossier City, Louisiana, to Wimberly and Jessie (Lauderdale) Sullivan. He served in the United States Army during World War II and married Jewel "Judy" Riley on September 23, 1949, in Castor, Louisiana. He enjoyed music and car racing. He was a member of the North Town Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Jewel "Judy" Sullivan; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and David Warren; grandchildren, Kellye and Joe Medley, Wendy and Shane Ragan, Jessica Warren, Abbey Warren, Julie Warren, Christy and Sean Strickland, Tamara Sullivan and Robert Keen; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Medley, Kara Medley, Logan Medley, Bryce Ragan, Holly and Tim Skinner, Carleigh Medley, Jake Medley, Veronikaa Fira, Vanessa Fira, Nikolas Tovar and Sara Tovar; great-great-grandchildren, Gavin Skinner and Angel Scott; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ronald Sullivan and Timothy Sullivan; grandsons, Shane Sullivan and Jeff Sullivan; sister, Gladys Witte; and brother, Wayne Sullivan. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brumley-Mills Chapel in McAlester with Oben Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Tannehill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Pallbearers are Joe Medley, Shane Ragan, Larry Robinson, Ronnie Rogers, Jake Medley and Logan Medley. Honorary pallbearers are James Beaty, Garner Boyd, Bill Coop, and Earl Weeks.
