Ida Mae Poole, 91, of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at High Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Clyde Coplen and Pastor Jeremy Lalli officiating. Burial will follow at Tannehill Cemetery. Ida Mae Poole was born on August 31, 1928 in McAlester to Cecil and Ima (Rudolph) Gaddy. She married Charles R. Poole, Sr. on November 19, 1949 in McAlester. She and her husband were farmers and she enjoyed gardening, quilting, crafting, sewing and canning. She was a member of the High Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles "Rudy" Poole, Jr. and wife, Beth of Oklahoma City; grandchildren and spouses, Scott Poole and wife, Erin of Oklahoma City and Melissa Foote and husband Ryan of Oklahoma City; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. "Charlie" Poole, Sr.; her parents; two brothers, William Gaddy, Ted Gaddy and one sister, Onita (Gaddy) Wilson. Active pallbearers will be Scott Poole, Ryan Foote, Steve Segelquist, Cody Camp, Eddie Camp and Bobby Camp. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Camp, Ed Camp, Bill Brewster, Ray Pool, Kenny Fields and Ray Brewer.
