A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Tannehill Cemetery Pavilion, with Rev. Jason Dunn officiating. Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Sammy Brown, Jason Brown, Daniel Hance, Marlon Isabel, Chris Osborne, and Bo Booth. Edna was born on September 6, 1952, in McAlester to Woodrow Wilson Brown, Sr. and Edna Marie (Grist) Brown. She graduated from Haileyville High School and went on to earn her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from Kiamichi Tech. Edna dedicated part of her career to caring for others at McAlester Regional Health Center before choosing to focus on her greatest passion-her family-as a full-time homemaker. On January 28, 1975, she married the love of her life, Richard Louie "Rick" Nobles, in Hugo. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. A faithful member of New Haven Bible Baptist Church in Krebs, Edna found strength in her faith and joy in simple pleasures. She loved to sew and her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved to spend time with them. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Rick Nobles; her daughter, Jamie Gallaher; her brother, Woodrow W. Brown, Jr.; and her sisters, Barbara Sue Brown, Velma June Brown, and Babe Brown. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Nobles and wife Sue; daughter, Becky Osborne and husband Chris; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Booth and husband Bo, and Breanna Fry; great-grandchildren, Thomas Johnson, Laryn Johnson, Castyn Johnson, Angel Booth, Shelby Booth, Talon Booth, and London Swoboni; brothers, Sam Brown, Jack Brown and wife Teresa; sister-in-law, Laverne Tinker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Edna's life was a testament to quiet strength, loving care, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
