Ginney Rebecca Ledford, 52, of McAlester departed this world on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in McAlester, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2025 at Tannehill Cemetery in Tannehill, Oklahoma. Reverend Steve Mayhew will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael "Sam" McFarland, Mike "Smitty" Smith, Travis Terrell, Christian Bernal, Jacob Daniels, and Brendon Justice. Ginney was born on February 23, 1972, in Mesa, Arizona to Larry McAlister and Belina Sue (Kirby). Ginney graduated from Crowder High School in 1990. Professionally, Ginney dedicated many years to the world of retail as a salesclerk at both Dillard's and J.C. Penney. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ginney embraced the role of a homemaker, creating a loving and welcoming environment for her family. Ginney's interests were a reflection of her joyful spirit and her love for her family. She was known for her exquisite Christmas decorations and the delectable homemade Christmas candy she would lovingly prepare each year. Her home was a hub of festivity and warmth during the holiday season. Additionally, Ginney found pleasure in watching movies and spending time with her family. Ginney is survived by father, Larry McAlister of McAlester; her daughter, Rebecca (Justice) Bernal and her husband, Christian of Claremore; her other children, Jeffrey-John Daniels and wife, Sarah of McAlester, Jason Kyle Ledford of McAlester, Joshua Jarvis of McAlester, Jessica Daniels of McAlester, and Jacob Daniels of McAlester; her sister, Donna Burris and her husband, Jerry of McAlester; nieces and nephews, Emily Orman and her husband, David of Pensacola, Florida, Skylar Saffell and her husband, Jackson of McAlester, Caleb Burris of McAlester, Brady Justice and wife, Emily of Houston, Texas, and Brendon Justice of Norman; along with other family members and friends. Ginney is preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Justice; her husband, Joseph Ledford; her former husband, Roy Earl "Butch" Justice; and her mother, Belinda Yancey.
