Jeneva Jurline Jackson, 92, of McAlester, died Wednesday, June 30, 2019 at Walnut Grove Living Center in McAlester. The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Bishop Funeral Service in McAlester. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Tannehill Cemetery with Pastor Keith Stanford officiating. Interment will follow. Jeneva was born on September 11, 1926 in Tannehill to James Henry Martin and Perlina Caroline (Ramsay) Martin. Jeneva worked as a supervisor and seamstress for Elsings/Seam Prufe Company in McAlester for many years. She was a member of High Hill Baptist Church in McAlester. She enjoyed fishing, painting, and gardening. Jeneva is survived by her son: Chuck Justice and significant other, Pam of McAlester; brothers: Leo Martin and Wayne Martin, both of California; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: James and Perlina Martin, husbands: Dueford Jackson and Herman Justice; daughter: Janis Justice-Midkiff, and son: Jimmy Justice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
