Lenora Ruth Bliss, age 59, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Tulsa. Lenora was born on March 26, 1958 in Hartshorne to William M. and Ida C. (Nichols) Williams. She grew up in Hartshorne and graduated from Hartshorne High School. She attended college and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing. She joined the U.S. Air Force and received an honorable discharge after 4 years of service. During and after her military service she worked as a registered nurse in several places, including Maryland and Kansas, and then, after returing to Hartshorne, the McAlester hospital. She was also the program director for Go Life Mobile Medical, a free, traveling ultrasound clinic. She was married to Jason Bliss on June 16, 2007. Lenora is of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband, Jason Bliss, of the home; daughter, Brandi Cope, of Hartshorne; son, John Campbell, of Haileyville; grandchildren, Londyn Cope and Christian Cope; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Robert Day and Sharon and Paul Winslow; a brother, Matt Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; 2 brothers, William David Williams and Jonathan Wayne Williams. The family will receive friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne on Wednesday, May 10, at 5:00 pm. A Rosary service will begin at 6:00 pm for those who wish to stay. Mass will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hartshorne with Monsignor Gregory Gier officiating. Burial will follow at Sulphur Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Active pallbearers are Ray Pruitt, Bill Winslow, J.J. Anderson, Chris Tucker, Daniel Taylor and Donnie Meadows. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Day, Paul Winslow, LeeRoy Tucker, Tommy Tucker and Pete Hatridge.
