Dama Geneva (Parker) Waldridge
July 13, 1910 ~ Jan. 6, 2001

Dama Geneva Waldridge, 90, of Savanna, Okla., died Jan. 6, 2001. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Savanna First Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Cummings officiating. Interment will be at Savanna Cemetery under direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester. Geneva was born July 13, 1910 in Howe, Okla., to Henderson Frank and Lucy Irons Parker. She married Walter F. Waldridge in 1928 in Tulsa, and worked as a secretary for the Oklahoma Tax Commission and the Oklahoma Dry Cleaners Association. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Savanna and Pittsburg County Extension Homemakers. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Parker and Jean Waldridge of Crescent and David and Terri Waldridge of McAllen, Texas; six grandchildren and spouses, Walter and Cindy Waldridge of Savanna, Parker Gene and Diane Waldridge of Crescent, Daniel Waldridge of Germany, Dama and Gary Maker of Guthrie, Barbara McNeil of Germany, Jennifer Craddock of McAllen, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Waldridge on April 8, 1979; a son, Billy Frank Waldridge; brothers Robert Parker and Walter Parker; and a sister, Lillian Parker.
