Joella Smith, 79, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, January 10th, 2020 at Hospice Quality Care in Midwest City. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 at Chaney’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Monty Thompson officiating. The burial will follow at Savanna Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: David Gibbs, Robert Gibbs, Grover Murphy, Cade Gibbs, Bradley McGuire and Chris McGuire. Joella is survived by three daughters: Darlene Burch, Dianne Burch-Woodley, and Tonya Smith and 12 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son: Dale Burch and 1 grandson.
