Jerry Holt was born on February 14, 1946 in Bakersfield, California to Joe Bill Holt and Anna Mae (Baggs) Holt. His family moved around a bit with work, from Oklahoma to Wyoming to California, but the Hartshorne area was always home. Rogers Lumber Co., and also worked as a carpenter in new construction projects. In his spare time Jerry loved to hunt and fish, and was a big "Blues" fan and seldom missed the Blues Festival in Rentiesville every year. Jerry is survived by his 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Trinity Holt, Devona and Warren Hollis, and Sheri and Jack Mickle; 9 grandchildren, Miranda Hogan, Mariah Gilreath and Jordan, Hope Holt, Jagger Hinds, Roger Holt and Katrina, Dentin Hollis, Jessica Gooch and Tony, Joseph Mickle, and Ashley O’Donnell; a half-brother, Ted Holt. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Tiler Savage, and 4 brothers, Charles, Raymond "Shorty", Barry, and Kenny Holt.
