Frank Lloyd McWilliams, 82, of Stuart, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in McAlester. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Pryor Cemetery near Stuart, officiated by Rev. Cecil Day and Woodrow Hall. Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Wade Davis, Greg Brewer, Clay Murdaugh, David McWilliams, Mike McWilliams, and Jered McWilliams. Frank was born to James A. and Maude (Hayes) McWilliams on July 27, 1938 in Christie, Oklahoma. He grew up in Stuart and graduated from Stuart High School. He married Hazel Earlene Frazier on August 19, 1957 in Stigler. Frank worked as a tool maker for Rockwell International and Boeing, retiring in 1992. Frank enjoyed farming and ranching, and raised and ran race horses. He was a member of the Stuart Freewill Baptist Church. Frank was preceded in death by his parents: James A. McWilliams and Maude McWilliams-Reid and wife: Hazel Earlene (Frazier) McWilliams on March 2, 2020. He is survived by his sons: James Michael McWilliams and wife, Becky of Kingston, David McWilliams and wife, Tara of Stillwater; grandson: Jered McWilliams and wife, Ashley of Stuart; great-grandchildren: Liam McWilliams and Gabriel McWilliams, both of Stuart; daughter-in-law: Sherry Hooser of Stuart; sister-in-law: Sue Harrington and husband, Coy of Stuart; sisters: Norma Johnson of Weatherford, Texas, Billie Jean Gray; and numerous other family members and friends.
