Jo Ann (O’Daniel) Holladay, 78, of McAlester, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 in McAlester.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Brandon Parker officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.
Jo Ann was born March 15, 1936 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Arthur Franklin and Minnie Helen (Hudgens) O’Daniel. She married William E. Holladay on December 24, 1955 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and they made their home in McAlester.
Jo Ann enjoyed gospel singing, baking cakes, playing games and watching movies. She had most recently worked as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her son: Paul Holladay of Tulsa; and daughter: Vicky Holladay-Nunnelee and husband, Mickey of McAlester.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Wm. E. Holladay, her parents: A.F. O’Daniel and Minnie O’Daniel; and two sisters: Nona Hudson and Helen Senge.
