Christen Leanne Kingsley, a loving and adventurous soul, passed away at the age of 35 in McAlester, Oklahoma, on April 6, 2025, due to an asthma attack. Born on September 29, 1989, in the rugged beauty of Fairbanks, Alaska, Christen inherited the spirit of the wilderness that would shape her passionate approach to life. Christen's early years in Alaska with her parents, Bill J. Kingsley and Audrey (Carmenati) Kingsley, instilled in her a love for adventure that she carried throughout her life. Her memory will be cherished by her family, including her loving daughter, Chloe Myatt, her father, Billy J. Kingsley, sister, Courtney Kingsley, brother, Josiah Kingsley and her sister-in-law, Sandra Sweeden. Her nieces and nephews-Gemma, Gwen, Zilas, Zaidyn, Benson, Elaina, Corra, and Mylla-will remember her as the aunt who inspired them to dream big and live fully. Christen also leaves behind her aunts, Venissa Riebe, Nanci Carmenati, and Melissa Green, who will miss her vibrant presence. She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Kingsley; and nana, Susan Santora. Christen graduated from McAlester High School with the Class of 2008. Her life took a turn full of love and travel when she married Cameron, a dedicated member of the Armed Forces. Together, they traversed the country, creating a tapestry of memories at each base they called home. Christen's passion for life was evident in everything she did, and those who knew her would describe her as not just loving and adventurous, but also fiercely passionate about the people and causes dear to her heart. The family has honored Christen's giving spirit through organ and tissue donation with Life Share of Oklahoma, ensuring that her legacy of helping others continues. A memorial service to celebrate Christen's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home, with Pastor April Morse officiating. In a tribute to her loving bond with her mother, Christen's cremains will be laid to rest at North Town Cemetery beside Audrey, who preceded her in passing in July of 2024. Christen's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit-so full of love and adventure-will continue to guide and inspire her family and friends.
