Clara B. Huddleston, 86, of McAlester, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, in McAlester. Viewing will be from Noon to 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Bishop Chapel of Memories, officiated by Rev. Roy Prince. Burial will follow at North Town Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Randy Williams, Josh Williams, Zane Williams, Colton Williams, Zeke Brannon, Cody Abrahamsen, Chance Chapman, Jared Macchirella, and Jordan James. Clara was born April 9, 1939, in McAlester to Joseph Ray and Sarah (Smith) James. She grew up in McAlester and attended McAlester schools. She married William "Mack" Huddleston on June 21, 1972, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Clara worked at State Beauty Supply for over 24 years and, more recently, for Atlas Rentals. She attended North Gate Baptist Church. Clara enjoyed crocheting and embroidering. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She was also a longtime and avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sarah James; husband, William "Mack" Huddleston; daughter, Jeanne Mullins; three infant grandchildren, Tommy Joe Mullins, Megan Mullins, and Monte Mullins; granddaughter, Casey Brannon; great-grandson, Hayden Williams; brothers, Sam Giaudrone and Dallas James; and sister, Delores Canfield. Clara is survived by her son, Bobby Kirkpatrick of Okmulgee; daughters, Cheryl Williams and husband Jerry of Ashland, Lorri Brannon of Ada, and Debbie Abrahamsen of McAlester; grandchildren, Randy Williams, Josh Williams and wife Amy, Jennifer Chapman and husband Chance, Zeke Brannon and wife, Taylor, Christen Johnson and husband Billy, Cody Abrahamsen, Jessica Abrahamsen, Zachary Mullins, Aimee James and husband Jordan; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Lester James and wife Sondra; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
