Linda Kay (Sharp) Harmon, 68, of Krebs, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Krebs. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 3 at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4 at Pathway to Truth Church in Krebs with Rev. James Harris officiating. Interment will be at North Town Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Born to Vernon and Dortha (Weiher) Sharp on February 14, 1947 in McAlester, she attended Krebs and McAlester Schools. Linda married Johnny Harmon on December 14, 1962 in Wilburton. She worked at Otasco, Gibsons, and Kress Department Store. Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Pathway to Truth Church, enjoyed singing gospel music, and had been a member of two gospel singing quartets. She is survived by her husband: Johnny Harmon of the home; daughters: Tamara Thomas and husband, Bruce of Krebs, Robin Brewer and wife, Tina of Broken Arrow; son: Randy Harmon and wife, Jennifer of McAlester. Also, grandchildren: Shayla Thomas, Dakota Harmon, Angl Brewer, Hunter Harmon; great-grandchild: Lexi Thomas; son-in-law: Carl Brewer of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law: Phyllis Bruening and husband, Carl of Calhan, Colorado. And, brothers-in-law: Curtis Harmon and wife, LouAnn of Denton, Texas, Bobby “Spud” Harmon and wife, Pam of McAlester, Ronnie Harmon and wife, Debbie of Edmond, Kenny Harmon and wife, Debbie of Shawnee; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Vernon and Dortha Sharp; brother: Rodney Sharp; mother-in-law: Alma Harmon; father-in-law: Johnnie Harmon; and brothers-in-law: Charles Harmon and Roger Dale Harmon. Pallbearers will be Cole Wilson, Bubba Harris, DeWayne Sharp, Ted Malone, David Bonham, and Chuck Nelms.
