Alva Jean Lardi

Alva Jean (Pace) Lardi of McAlester entered Heaven's gates on November 29, 2016. Alva was born on February 6, 1933 to Alvie and Gladys (Burks) Pace in McAlester. She grew up in McAlester and married Greg Lardi. They lived in McAlester for many years with their two children. Alva is survived by her son: Johnny Joe Lardi and wife, Vicki; daughter: Debbie Hopper and husband, Mark, all of McAlester; grandchildren: Rob Hance and wife, Holli of Irving, Texas, Greg Young and wife, Brooke of McAlester, and Julie Ann Lardi of McAlester. Also, great-grandchildren: Nicolas, Madison, and Larick Hance, Brayden Lardi, and Cora Young; sister: Margie Hendrix of McAlester; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gregory Daniel Lardi on March 29, 2007, her parents: Alvie and Gladys (Burks) Pace, her brothers: Frank and Donald Pace, and a sister: Barbara Pace Harshaw. A graveside funeral service will be held for close family at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation at Mount Calvary Cemetery in McAlester.
