Earl Winters, Jr., beloved father, grandfather, and brother died Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Sunset, Texas at the age of 79. Earl was born April 3, 1937 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Earl Winters, Sr. and Frankie D. (Ott) Winters. He entered the United States Air Force in 1956 and served as an aeromedic specialist until his honorable discharge in 1960. In 1969, he graduated from Okmulgee Tech with a degree in electronics repair. He owned and operated Winters TV Sales and Service for many years in McAlester. He enjoyed building homes for family and could fix anything. Earl retired as a farmer and rancher. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his son, Bill Winters and wife, Tamra of Sunset, TX; daughter, Jeanie Trimble and husband, Todd of Grand Prairie, TX; six grandchildren: Josh Winters and wife, Miriam, Angela Scott and husband, Jim, Brandy Dunn and husband, Billy, Ryan Trimble, Dana Scherman and husband, Greg, and Amanda Hadley and husband, Todd; twelve Great Grandchildren; sisters, Nona Bryant and husband J.A., Gloria Adcock and husband, C.J., and LaVeta Delana, all of Quinton; brother, Raymond Winters of Quinton; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Earl was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Bailey; parents, Earl and Frankie Winters; and wife, June Winters Henderson. The family will greet friends Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6-8 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Ron Abbott. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery, McAlester, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be: Josh Winters, Angela Scott, Brandy Dunn, Ryan Trimble, Dana Scherman and Amanda Hadley. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jesse Lovelace, Curtis Swiney and Ben Barnard
