She graduated from McAlester High School with the class of 1970. She retired from The Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension Service, then retired from a second career at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. She loved to travel to Branson, Missouri with her family, and was looking forward to another trip next week. She is survived by her sons: Matthew Weeks & wife, Tabatha Weeks of McAlester and Joshua Weeks of Oklahoma City; her only grandchild: Baylee Weeks of McAlester whom she loved more than anything and saw nearly every day since she was born in 2005. She was preceded in death by her father: Louis Butler, Sr; mother: Della Mae (Lott) Butler; her brother: Louis Butler, Jr; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Due to current public health concerns, a private burial will take place at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Service arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service.
