Dora Marie Mullins, 87, of McAlester, passed away Tuesday, July 20, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Derrick Skinner, Dylan Skinner, Blayne Skinner, Gage Mullins, Ganon Mullins, and Grant Mullins. Dora Marie Mullins was born on August 17, 1933 in Celestine, Ok. to John Earl Windle and Mary Mitchell (Riddle) Windle. She grew up around Haywood and has lived in this area all her life. She worked as a seamstress at Seamprufe and then Elsings. She was married to James Leo Mullins on April 2, 1953 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1998. In her spare time she loved to make quilts and was a volunteer with Shared Blessings and the Choctaw Center. She also cared for the elderly and sick. She was also a devoted and active member of the Hilltop Christian Fellowship Church. Dora is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, James Earl and Judy Mullins and Tommy Dean and Karen Mullins; grandchildren, Jamie Skinner and Charles, Justin Leo Mullins and Tina, Zachary DeWayne Mullins and Courtney, Kristi Dowlearn and Charles, and Morgan Morris and Austin; great grandchildren, Derrick Skinner and Rachael, James Dylan Skinner and Sarah, Justin Blayne Skinner and Paige, Gage Mullins, Ganon Mullins, and Grant Mullins; great great grandchildren, Tobias Mullins, Lincoln Morris, and Charlie Rose Skinner; brothers and sisters, Cora Mae Youngblood, J. M. Windle and Christine, Ruby Breesawitz, Martin Windle, and Edd Windle; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Windle; her husband, James Leo Mullins; and sisters, Lora Whitefield and Nora Bennett.
