Gina Annette Miller, age 54, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her husband Darrell was by her side when she passed. Gina's celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Burnside officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Assembly of God Church in McAlester for needed medical expenses for Sean Brockway. Gina was born on August 9, 1962 in McAlester to Coy and Dorothy (Thompson) Adams. She married Darrell Miller on June 1, 1984. Gina is survived by her husband of 32 years, Darrell of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Krista and Adam Barlow of Choctaw and Skylar and Jeremy Higbee of McAlester. Father, Coy Adams of McAlester, brother Jason Adams and Monica Schwarz of San Diego, California, mother-in-law, Reba Sue Miller, 3 grandchildren, Rylee, Jaden and Ethyn, 2 sisters-in-law, Kimberly and Chuck Adams of Colorado and Amanda and Jeff Newman of Indiana. Gina was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Adams, paternal grandparents, Robert and Violet Adams, maternal grandparents, Paul and Lillian Thompson, father-in-law, Lloyd Miller, sister-in-law, Stacey Miller and brother-in-law, Terry Smith. Active pallbearers will be Royce Jackson, Marvin Sockey, Adam Barlow, Jeremy Higbee, Bill Rowell and Jeff Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Beth Sockey, Tammy Hawkins, Don Thompson, Troyce Tolson, Brent Walker and Ted Welch.
