Sandra Jean "Sandy" (Bogard) Middleton, 83 of McAlester died Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in McAlester. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Chaplain Louis Reynolds. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Eric Jaworksi, Hayden Heath, Will Middleton, James Bond, Aaron Middleton and Justin Miranda. Sandra was born to Noble Midson and Ozell Pearl (Goatcher) Bogard on April 19, 1941, in McAlester. Sandy graduated from Haileyville High School in 1959. She married Thomas Franklin "Tommy" Middleton, Jr. on January 27, 1962, in McAlester. Sandy worked as a legal secretary and bookkeeper for Steidley and Neal Law Firm for over 25 years. She was committed to her family; her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Sandy enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR and football. She was a person of faith and a member of the Richville Baptist Church. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Noble and Ozell Bogard; husband, Tommy Middleton in 2018; brother, Harold "Butch" Bogard; sisters, Sharon Holder and Betty Klippel. She is survived by sons, Jerry Middleton and wife, Cora of McAlester, James Middleton and wife, Amy of Claremont, California; five grandchildren, Teri Miranda and husband, Justin of Edmond, Aaron Middleton of Durant, Delaney Jaworski and husband, Eric of Rincon, Georgia, Emily Heath and husband, Hayden of Shawnee, Will Middleton of Claremont, California; 2 great grandchildren, Eden Miranda, Jax Miranda both of Edmond, sister, Barbara Hambright of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; brothers, Leon Bogard and wife, Kelley, Terry Bogard and wife, Bonnie all of McAlester; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
